Cagrilintide – (1415456-99-3)

Cagrilintide is a novel long-acting acylated amylin analogue currently under investigation for the treatment of obesity and type 2 diabetes. As a nonselective agonist of amylin receptors (AMYR) and the calcitonin G protein-coupled receptor (CTR), cagrilintide has demonstrated significant potential in inducing weight loss and reducing food intake.

Clinical trials have shown that cagrilintide, both as a standalone therapy and in combination with the GLP-1 receptor agonist semaglutide (CagriSema), leads to substantial weight reduction.

Additionally, CagriSema showed improvements in glycemic control, with a greater reduction in HbA1c compared to cagrilintide alone.
