Pramipexole is a dopamine agonist used to treat Parkinson’s disease (PD) and restless legs syndrome (RLS). It acts on dopamine D2, D3, and D4 receptors, with high affinity for D3 receptors.
It is also being investigated for other conditions like depression and fibromyalgia.
