AC-262536 is a selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM) developed by Acadia Pharmaceuticals.
In animal studies, AC-262536 demonstrated anabolic effects, increasing levator ani muscle weight by 66% of the effect of testosterone, while only increasing prostate gland weight by 27%.
It is chemically related to other SARMs such as ACP-105 and RAD140. AC-262536 is an aniline-based SARM with endo-exo isomerism, where the endo form is the active configuration.
It has potential therapeutic applications due to its tissue-selective anabolic effects and reduced androgenic side effects.
