Centrophenoxine is a cholinergic nootropic used as a dietary supplement and in the treatment of symptoms of senile dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
It is an ester of dimethylethanolamine (DMAE) and 4-chlorophenoxyacetic acid (pCPA). Meclofenoxate has been shown to improve memory performance in elderly patients and increase cellular membrane phospholipids.
Research indicates that meclofenoxate can increase the lifespan of mice by up to 26.5%.
