CT-005404

CT-005404, also known as CT-5404, is an atypical dopamine reuptake inhibitor (DRI) derived from modafinil. It exhibits pro-motivational effects in animal models, reversing motivational deficits induced by tetrabenazine and interleukin-1β.

Developed by Chronos Therapeutics, CT-005404 is under investigation for the treatment of motivational disorders. It was first described in 2018 and shows potential as a novel therapeutic for effort-related motivational dysfunctions in humans.
